They have welcomed over 250 million players to their world, and their most popular game is based on a medieval fantasy realm. They are constantly strengthening existing living games to create fantastic worlds and brand new titles. The team is looking for a Product Owner to join their studio, based in Cambridge.

The Role:

  • Collaborating with key marketing stakeholders to gather business requirements
  • Managing Product backlog with well written User stories
  • Documenting acceptance criteria at a user story level to ensure the development teams understand requirements
  • Improving the customer journey by optimising acquisition of new users
  • Helping craft the marketing product roadmap
  • Delivering marketing features into the new platform
  • Working with the development team to deliver marketing applications integrated into the publishing platform
  • Defining, analysing and communicating metrics to help build new features and enhancements
  • Deep understanding of customer’s journey and their pain points
  • Understanding current trends in the free to play/subscription game industry
  • Mentoring team members
  • Understanding and translating business requirements
  • Collaborating with game teams to launch new titles and managing the process of integrating 3rd party published games into the new platform

You, the Product Owner:

  • 5+ years working in agile software development teams
  • Experience with CRM and marketing solutions
  • Comfortable with numbers and generating insights from large datasets
  • Lean Product Management expert
  • Strong global project experience and capable of working with distributed teams
  • Built and led product features from concept to delivery
  • Comfortable working with users to identify their needs and requirements
  • Preferably have some experience marketing online games
