Our client is a multi-award winning mobile technology company creating digital products that are used by millions of people every month and drive billions of impressions to content producers and advertisers around the world.

They are looking for an experienced UX researcher to join the growing product team (product managers, product designers and product analysts). This is an exciting opportunity to develop new features and make the user experience of the entire product suite more intuitive, accessible and engaging.

The Role:

  • Evaluating products - ongoing analysis of current products and identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Establishing and implementing an overall research strategy
  • Getting hands on with product discovery including (research, mapping, testing etc.)
  • Working closely with the product team to identify research objectives
  • Translating user insights into actionable recommendations for the product team and teams across the business
  • Creating personas
  • Interviewing users to gather information about their requirements and finding out what needs researching, designing, testing etc.
  • Helping develop and implement quantitative surveys
  • Working closely with data to identify gaps and make recommendations
  • Evaluating competitors in the mobile industry to understand their strengths and weaknesses
  • Keeping on top of industry trends and best practices
  • Feeding back key insights to the team
  • Reporting to the Chief Product Officer

You, the UX Researcher:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in a human behaviour related field (or equivalent)
  • Ability to perform all research-related tasks including research, planning, evaluating, and iteration
  • Experience with qualitative & quantitative analysis, statistics and user-centered design methodologies
  • Ability to clearly identify and articulate key insights and recommendations
  • Effectively collaborate with internal product decisions
  • Working knowledge and experience of analytics and remote testing tools including Google Analytics 4, Analysis hub and Google Data Studio
  • Comfortable with being very hands-on with data
  • Deep understanding of User experience design
  • Critical thinker with a strong desire for creative problem-solving
  • Strong communication skills (particularly written, as you may be involved in writing copy)
