The Client:
Our client is a digital media company specialising in online gaming, they are looking for a UX Researcher. From first search through to choosing a site that’s right for the user, they help people make smart choices online by crafting industry-leading experiences and comparison products.
The team is based in London & Warsaw serving a rapidly growing network of over 100 websites across more than 50 countries. The Role:
- Implementing UX Research across the entire product lifecycle, using a variety of mixed research methods (qualitative and quantitative)
- Designing studies and developing hypotheses examining user needs and attitudes
- Driving research processes and focussing on what the organisation needs, leading to meaningful user-centred actions
- Framing problems and providing optimal research methodologies
- Scoping, planning and implementing extensive research activities – from open-ended exploratory research to concept validations
- Working closely with engineering, product, SEO, content, CRO teams to provide context, support and guidance
- Inspiring and educating teams on the research process
You, the UX Researcher:
- 2 + years relevant experience
- Independent thinker, able to work autonomously, taking on loosely defined problems
- Experience working with research, design and development teams in tech companies or digital agencies
- Comfortable planning and conducting research, skills with research analysis and synthesis including interviews and competitive analysis
- Familiar with quantitative research methods and A/B tests
- Proven analytical and data interpretation skills with the ability to analyse key focus areas of qualitative research
- Experience of reporting findings effectively and providing meaningful, easily understood insights
- You are passionate about complex problems and experienced in data-informed product design and development
- Degree or higher in Psychology, HCI, Human Factors or a related discipline is a bonus
